Glory of Nature
I adore nature shots because of the colors and natural feel to them. I can be as creative as I want with nature without even having to disturb anything. It will probably always be my inspiration even if I end up in another field of photography. Nature and landscape is my scapegoat from reality for even a short while.

Photo Story Narrative
This is my cat Yuki, she's a year old now since August 29th. These photos were taken at different point of her kitten hood. The first if of her and her mother(Henna) before Henna's owner moved out of the house and took her with. The second is Yuki at her first vet visit, she was totally terrified. The third photo is a few months later after the vet visit. She's cuddled up to her best friend Asch. Asch is my brother's only cat and she adores him a lot, maybe to much for his liking. The last photo his the most current photo of my beloved furry friend. In this shot she was trying to squeeze her big body into the tiny compartment in my roll top desk. She's still a kitten at heart it seems.
Introduction
Hi my name is Heather Herrington and I'm a photographer. I was born and grew up in Spokane, Washington. I'm mostly interested in animals and nature but I'm not afraid to try other things such as portraits or fine art pieces. I hope to be able to open up my own studio in the future but for now practice makes perfect.
